3.1.5 Programmable Function I/O

The USB-1210 supports powerful programmable I/O function pro-

vided by an FPGA chip, configurable as LVTTL DI/DO, 32-bit

timer/counters, and PWM output. These signals are single-ended

and 5 V LVTTL-compliant.

LVTTL DI/DO

Programmable function I/O can be used as static LVTTL-compli-

ant 8-CH digital input and 4-CH digital output. You can read/write

these I/O lines by software polling, with sample and update rate

fully controlled by software timing.

*Not used in DI/O

General Purpose Timer/Counter

The USB-1210 is equipped with two general purpose timer/coun-

ter sets featuring:

X Count up/down controllable by hardware or software

X Programmable counter clock source (internal clock up to 80

MHz, external clock up to 10 MHz)
